I’m a Design Strategist, leading cross-functional global teams to build world-class technology products for over 17 years!
My experience in applying design strategies and User-Centered Design (UCD) methodologies within organizations has resulted in enhanced user engagement, improved product performance, and significant revenue growth.
How I Got Started
Upon obtaining my degree from Moore College of Art and Design, I secured my initial full-time position in design with DC Comics — an extraordinary opportunity where icons like Batman and Superman leapt from the pages of my projects. My responsibilities included crafting advertisements, promotional content, and poster designs, which proved to be an enriching experience.
Situated in the vibrant heart of Manhattan, I immersed myself in a multitude of design tools and swiftly advanced to oversee a department dedicated to cover design.
Subsequently, I made a transition to Boston, where I found my niche in the publishing industry, focusing on the artistry of textbook cover design. In due course, I ascended to lead the creative services team, steering the production of catalogues and various promotional materials.
My fascination with UI/UX design grew, leading me to acquire coding skills to develop online applications, transforming the way materials were requisitioned internally. This marked the genesis of my journey into UX, dedicated to forging exceptional product experiences.
Recently, I’ve embraced the serenity of the Pacific Northwest, enjoying its scenic splendor and integrating its inspiration into my life and work.
